Mobile games are traditionally linked to microtransactions, and Netease is infamous even among Chinese companies for gouging. Monetization is the third big issue for me. Is that what you as a Diablo fan would want out of a Diablo game? Not me for sure. You could slap on any other intellectual property and you would get a game.
Sure, it works but this could be said of any other franchise. I don't mean just the UI, but also the skill animation for some of the classes are straight up taken from Netease. Using a 4-5 inch screen as your screen AND CONTROLLER is just limiting your input options and your visual enjoyment.ĭiablo Immortal is reskinned from several of Netease's old games.
